Where to Stay  in Rushikulya

Rushikulya beach is not one of those highly visited places in Odisha. So that’s why there are no such great options to stay there but nearby towns are not very far too.   To reach the beach Either you will have to stay in Barkul or Rambha on Chilika. These small two places have good infrastructure in terms of tourism. There are bungalows available at both of these places for the stay of tourists. We took the Balgaun route and stayed in Barkul where the stay house is so beautiful that it is in front of the Chilika.

While if you want to live closer to the beach then I recommend you Rambha. Rambha is a little further off from the station but it is very near the Rushikulya beach.

So we started our journey very early from Barkul. We started the journey at 3 am in the morning so as to witness the most scenic sunrise.  While the drive from Barkul to the beach is around 1 hour but it one of the most beautiful rides you will see. As soon as you reach around the area you will have to cover the final one kilometer on foot only.    Actually, our original idea was to catch the glimpse of Sunrise.
