We did the 24h tour to Telica with Henrique and Angel from Sonati. It was a really nice tour to the volcan and the cave. Henrique is a really nice guide, he really likes the nature and explained us a lot of things on the Both were very different and wonderful.
The visit to sculptor Don Alberto was memorable. Sonati and Leijser are helpful, punctual, informative and well organised. The hostel advertises this tour but actually they do nothing for you except call the guide company in Somoto. You have to take the local chicken bus on your own from Esteli to Somoto canyon is the only tour we offer that is not fully guided. We work closely with the Somoto community, providing environmental education and training My girl friend and I did 2 tours threw sonati.
