Updated January 15, Kofie-Jade Sanson-Rejouis, 5, and her sister Zenzie, 3, were in their hotel apartment with their father and their two-year-old sister when the quake struck. The sisters were born in New Zealand and attended school in the South Island city of Nelson last year. Yesterday Ms Rejouis's sister in Auckland, Caroline Larnach, begged for government help, saying there were no rescue or medical workers at the building to help those trapped.
